Zack Keehbauch- BIG QUESTION

Should someone have to go through so much to believe another? Jacob Portman's grandfather died, and before he passed, Grandpa Portman says things to Jacob about not being safe and goto the island ect. The things said get stuck in his head and starts going a little loopy. He then realizes that he wants to figure out what grandpa Portman was saying about the island. Jacobs dad tells him grandpa was crazy and blah blah blah. Jacob decides to go all the way across the world to see if his grandfather in fact a crazy old geezer. Jacob then goes through hell and back basically just to see if his grandpa was just lying about everything.

Zack Keehbauch- The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

The theme of the poem is sin and redemption. I say this because the mariner killed the bird, but on the other hand the spirit loved the bird. So the mariner sinned by killing the bird and the spirit got redemption by getting back at the mariner by tripping him out. By keeping him alive and to live and tell the story over and over and over. The romantic literature evident in "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" I'd say would have to be idealism. Idealism emphasizes the spirit, the mind, or language over matter. The spirit was there,  not caring about anything except making the mariner regret killing the bird because the spirit loved it. He made him see things, that no one would ever want to see.

Miss Peregrine's~ Zack Keehbauch

The book I chose to read was Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I chose this one out of all of the other ones because it seemed more interesting, and it is a horror book, that grabbed my attention. So far in the book, Jacob is the main character; he's telling the story. When he was a boy, his Grandpa Portman told him stories about when he was a boy. The stories were real, and Jacob believed him and told them at school and was made fun of since. He then is 16 working at his family's business, Smart Aid, and he gets a call from his grandpa freaking out saying "They're coming for me!" and just going crazy. Jacob didnt think anythign of it because hes done stuff like this before. Jacob calls his dad and his dad asks Jacob to go over there. Jacob calls his friend Ricky to come pick him up and he does. They go over to Jacob's grandpa's house and he's not there. My question is where is he at? What happened to him? Are they gonna find him?
