Theme of Book

My book has more than one theme in it, there are multiple stories in it. The themes of my book Crazy Little Things would have to be like a mystery/slightly a horror/sarcastic. I'd say its a mystery theme because the little girl, Samantha Felder, no one knows who she is. Yet they still have information on her, she died awhile back and now shes back to the pageant again. The mystery is how is she there? Is she a ghost? But it also has you thinking threw the whole story. Its slightly a horror because it has you thinking like what if i was there and saw that? It'd scare me, its a reality check basically. A little girl that no one knows of, just showing up and being splendid with her talents and shocking the whole crowd. Its sarcastic by Pamela; the director, she doesnt take it so serious and just is worried about all the parents coming and complaining about the winning choice. She just shrugs it off that Samantha was a ghost, and decides to treat it like a small joke.

Protagonist

The protagonist in my novel comes from heaven to try and win the pageant. She died on the way to her last pageant. She ends up winning the pageant, but at the end she walks out and then just disappears and leaves the crowd, parents, and the whole crew. Maybe, she was suppose to leave shock or scarce upon them. It could have been to bring the thought of whether ghost are real or not? Her role could have been to bring a change in the way the people look at the world, what's real and what's fake. I feel her role was to come back and win, but to also leave an impact on the pageant and girls. The biggest question I have is, is Samantha (the ghost) going to come to the next pageant? What was her role, like why was she sent? How is the book going to end up at the end? How are the people going to react to the whole seeing a ghost, and if they're going to believe it?

Crazy Little Things

The SSR book i chose was The Crazy Little Things by Adam P. Knave. Whats happening in the book right now is they're at a pageant and 20 little girls are competing. They start off first with just introducing the girls and then they have to rush back on the stage, however, the parents are giving Pamela (the director) a hard time with the questioning and such. Next the girls have to go back on stage for 2 whole minutes and 15 seconds i think and perform a dance and sing. Out of nowhere a random little girl named Samantha Felder, she said, came on to stage and starting singing beautifully. When the people asked her where she was from and she said "Heaven". My questions are: Who is this little girl, where did she come from and is she real?
